I think the open engine compartment might be mucking things up aerodynamically and contributing to some of that top end instability — maybe look into closing it up and seeing if smoothing out that flow settles it down
that 1/8th is only 1.2 seconds off from ryan martins from street outlaws 1/8th would be hilarious to see a k20 be able to make passes like street outlaw cars. congrats on the new personal best great job fellas.

Yea unless you get the rear end under control at that top end i would park it.. i mean look at the aftermath of a big body with a full tube chassis and nhra’s best cert. cage when they take a wall at top end.. that mr2 would turn into a gymnast at that speed and i dont see that little cage thats in it doing anything for the driver past 150..
Remove the front bumper vent blocker and duct it under the car over the lip/front splitter

I’ve allways wanted to see the mr2 do some drag week events. If Kyle does a dry billet block the mr2 will loose it’s luster for me. Anyone can throw money in a chassis and go fast at the track. It takes skill and dedication to go fast in a street car.
