Well we wanted to know, so when we hit these guys up at the Armageddon Outlaw No-Prep race, we asked them exactly that! Many people don’t know that 1320Video has been tracking these guys since the beginning, WAY back when the first Cash Days series took place in OKC and Texas. It is very interesting to hear from these guys on where street racing has taken them over the years! We met up with Doc, Monza, Shawn (Murder Nova), and Big Chief to chat about what it’s like to be a Street Outlaws celebrity.

As a gear head when it's time to race I eat Ramon noodles and grill cheese for a month and scrape Penny's to just get bye work full time spend time with family plus work on the race stuff so yes they are broke there vacations are at the track I've collected cans to get enuff gas money to get home

Justin and Shawn should think about merchandising options their character on discovery alone is enough to get recognized anywhere now they should market their own t shirts hat's and stickers and shit to start out with that's where the money is. I bet they would have no problem trying to sell them while their racing in events such as this one they could make a killing from their fan bases

not sure how they can be that for when they're on a television show in its second or third season with good ratings , cash jobs on the side making appearances at car shows and so on . they have a famous brand a lot of folks can relate to . so not buying the whole poor thing . also is all the drivers had a 12 man crew wrenching on their rides they wouldn't I think people wouldn't relate .

Love the show and hope it continues for many many more years. I personally don't care if the show is fake or not, I'm a lover of fast cars and drag racing so I truly enjoy the show. Whether Big Chief and Shawn are rich or not isn't my concern because I don't worry about another man's $$$$ because I'm to busy grinding and making my own $$$$. BRAVO OKC KEEP THE EPISODES COMING !!!!
P.S…..Please race the REAL racers from Memphis on the show. (Memphis Gangster, 901 Bad Boys to start with and several more, we have a ton of mean muscle. They will bring the $$$$ and the beast mode competition ! BEST OF LUCK OKC / Street Outlaws !
