Dirty Diesel C10 – This Truck Frickin HAULS! Timeless design meets technology here as this 2006/07 Duramax Diesel powered 1970 GMC C10 pickup soars down drag strip after drag strip! If we had to choose one thing we love most about race weeks, it would be the fact that racers bring some of the most pridefully built race cars and trucks out to show off to likeminded racers in a competitive, yet friendly environment. The pits are over run with builds forged from blood, sweat, and tears, and racers that gleam with pride as we pass by. Talking to owner/drivers like that of this twin turbo duramax diesel swapped C10 pickup are what makes these events awesome because these owners get a chance to display their efforts and ideas in front of an audience like no other! 1320Video’s Rocky Mountain Race Week was an incredible 1400 mile, 6 day journey, that allowed us to meet some truly awesome people with some SERIOUSLY cool builds. love the build plus points for not being a ls swap..congrats on the 9's! i know it takes a lot to move a brick through the air also how great it is to outrun a dedicated race car in a truck that you can drive to the track and home my friend's 89 f 150 street truck on occasion pulls strip duty its a nitrous sbf with 10" slicks it ran 730's consistently in the 1/8th(old setup) but since then our local track closed so internet friends support your local tracks or else you'll be like me without one..

That's my favorite body style for GM pickups, and the D-Max swap has worked out very well. Nice to see that the smoke isn't excessive. I have a '72 GMC 1500 shortbed, baby blue with a 307 2-barrel, definitely not in this truck's league! The paint is faded, and it has a rust hole or two, but everywhere I take the truck, people want to talk with me about it. I also have a Camaro and a Corvette, and nobody gives them a 2nd look, but my little old truck gets way more attention.
