There is matching numbers on the frame and other places to match that Vin # , Florida checks these things when you register a vehicle in the state where a officer actually checks these things or they won't register the vehicle at all 💯 , you guys got to keep up on these things or you will get screwed Everytime man , especially a track Hawk for sure , IDK , persistence you guys don't let that drag out to the last minute of the situation 💯❓❓❓

  3. Good luck you guys. Been in the car business for over 28 years. Protect yourself. Document everything. Write down who you talk to on this from now on. This situation sucks and takes forever too. Having an attorney is not a bad idea. Long time viewer and will stay that way. Good luck and hope everything gets worked out. Might have to go after copart for the loss of value if nothing else. Trying to think of anyway to get you past this quicker but can’t think of anything.

  4. Most companies only keep phone recordings for a short period of time. Doubtful Copart would still have a recording from that long ago. They wouldn't be required to release it to you unless a court ordered them to. What you have there is probably someone that broke Federal and State laws. You need to contact State and Federal authorities and make reports with both. Yes Federal as well, I think it becomes Federal when crime crosses state borders. Guys, someone committed a crime stealing the VIN #. You should've called the authorities from the very beginning. The people will continue to do this if they aren't held accountable by the law. Please go to authorities so it gets investigated by the authorities.

  11. Parts companies and salvage yards have a long history of processing stolen vehicles and parts – if there is money to be made someone somewhere is gonna do it. Legal or not. Sucks, but it’s true

Dag jose and Des I'm so sorry you guys are getting screwed buy that company especially after you had already told them months ago hopefully the company will step up and make it right with you guys if not you definitely need to get an attorney.   18. I would contact Alabama state police and local police and get a lawyer as well. Just to make sure you are covered . Its always better to be safe than sorry.

  24. Bro maybe try to make your title photo look cleaner by using a coloured background with the car in the center ( I use an app on android: photoroom , just try it) .

  25. We need to all do our part and watch the ads for our favorite YouTube content creators. That's how they get paid. Jose can do so much more if we all just put our phones down and rest our eyes for a few seconds while those short ads play. Also take the time to share their videos on social media so your friends can watch and get hooked so they subscribe as well! Keep them coming Jose!!!!

  26. Can I recommend My Cousin Vinny who has experience in the courts in Alabama? He's sort of a car guy, but his girlfriend is a professional witness in the automotive industry. Vinny loves to hunt and he also devotes a lot of time to the utes of America. If you look on Netflix, there's a documentary or movie or something like that on Vinny!

  27. It doesn't matter if they have the call or not. Call the local Alabama sheriff. Copart is in possession of a stolen vehicle and they are going to wind up eating it. If they don't also make you whole regarding yours they will eat IT TOO, in whole or in part. Not the first time this has happened. But you WILL have to ride their asses.

  33. There still should be a record of the History of your car showing it was salvage and purchase.? Furthermore, the manufacture keeps an exact record of the date it was built, where it was built, and what dealership it was shipped to. I am doubting very seriously Copart's is going to do you justice by doing any leg work for you. You will probably find in their terms of service, they won't be held liable in situations like yours.
