That kid looks good
where does he get his widebody kits from? does anybody know?
I know this is an older vid, but I absolutely love that you included the scene where you lost the allen key and spent an hour looking for it. That really resonated with me.
you should try the HF air powered body saw it works well
I'll use your method of welding the inner panel when I add a wide body, thanks.
HAHAHAHAHAHA its your car Pennsylvanian man!!!!! haha i cant stop laughing…. i would be just like you though… ok this is my limit…… ehhhh OK THIS IS MY LIMIT…. lol π

B is for Butchered

Hate hate cutting up cars but widebody does look nice…
No one is gonna talk about the Nissan wheels on the RX7 lol?
Get a set of clecos to test fit the pieces. If you screw up the holes are only number 40. Very easy to fix if you mess up.
I'd have used 3M seem sealer, the fiberglass is going to flex and crack
On one side iam a bit sad to see a JDM RX7 hacked up like that, on the other iam eager to see how cool the kit is going to look.
One day i would like to see some real metal widebody overfenders, but thats alot more work…
Bro! 'I'm stoked' is better than um or ahhhh all the time
blue tape stuff on before you put the nuts in man you know that. check the fit for all the parts with tape and get a plan, measure twice cut once!
Awesome work Chris, we've just done exactly this to a FD down here in New Zealand. Car is now called the Rocket Hunny. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rvbCJBbgiRM
I hope he drops the support I wanna see if it shatters
Love the build!!
We've all been in that bidding situation before ππ Well handled!π
Try using clicos to hold body kit in place. Theyβre good for working alone
what are these so called "rubber well nuts" ?
It's okay to be stoked Chris. I'm stoked too. And I'm not even that big on the style you're going for with this build.
I Gotta Say This Is Better Than Watching ChrisFixπ
why cut the body π€€
always tape the complete kit on before drilling anything
fiberglass on top of that ? That's a hackjob, weld it properly, put in rust remover/preventer and cover with underbody paint / protector. Or else rust ahoy!!
I thought TIEN was pronounced Tie-n?
