2JZ or RB26 – A Sad Truth…

Well looks like we’re back to the whole drive-break-fix-repeat thing again. At least I’m enjoying the car though! MERCH – http://LZMFG.com

  1. I think Ive got your next vid for your Barra GT350, something which has never been done in the us or oz, a borla exhaust, barras have always sounded dronie, i grew up building these engines, i know how good they do sound with no exhaust, it would be interesting to see what a turned sound by borla would sound like

  2. I'd love to see parts made for the 2.4l i4 multi-air tigershark. Really want to get some quality parts like a manifold, turbo kit and cat back system for it but can't find anything with sound or quality I want

  3. It’s usually the smallest possible thing that you’d never think that causes problems when all others comeback normal. You’re gonna find the problem you have a great team! As always looking forward to next videos 👍

  4. Sometimes on the rb26 the air flow sensors mess around, other wise some of them has Idle controll sensors with a vacume pipe that might also have a leak.

  5. Hey Adam

Goosieat told u would do bad in fd cuz the mustang build in forza horizon 5 the handling is wierd

He told to use any car other than mustang

    No hate much love 🙂

  6. RB's have always misfired at idle. Mine always have. It was originally contributed to the stock CAS but as you have a trigger kit it's hard to say whether it's still related to that. IF you have access to another trigger kit or stock CAS it might be worth testing that out.

  7. You americans are not ready for rb yet….u pull the car apart completely and mount it back up and this problem began,u have no experience with dealing with rb's you dug ur own hole now u will get the experience u never had with a r34 rb26

  8. Sounds like a ring broke apart with a bit of pre ignition. What type of fuel were you running? Maybe the octane level was too high and and pooled up in the cylinder until it got hot enough and ignited in the top of the cylinder

  9. Have you checked voltage and amperage coming from the alternator at idle? Low voltage or not enough amperage for the electronics on a vehicle can create some super weird issues at idle

  10. The new Haltech firmware has a built in scope, run the scope and watch the trigger pattern on idle, also, I've had some issues with a faulty CAS and coil packs on my RB.

  11. Could it be something as simple as a variation in plug gaps causing it to be unhappy? Or maybe it’s not happy with the set plug gap you’re running?

  12. Im more of a motorcycle person so forgive if what I say doesn't translate to cars but check O2 sensors and or Mass air flow sensor?
