One of the things that I notice about Toyota vs Nissan. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE nissan, but I feel Toyotas are just built better. I recently switched from a '98 Frontier to a '96 4Runner, and even though it's 2 years older, it feels like it's built better, and feels like quality. Not cheap and plastic. All of my S13s tended to be extremely finicky, but I absolutely love those cars. I am going to get a 4 door R32 eventually, though. I just love the look of them. The JZX chassis is beautiful, and just classy. It can still tear it up, when you want to, though. Nice car, man.

Not sure if anyone will find this helpful, but as a previous JZX90 Mark II owner, I have these tips:
– Do NOT increase boost past 16psi (ceramic turbines will thank you)
– The R154 in the 90 has a remote shifter. They're sloppy because of all the bushings on the remote mount. Change them all, and the nylon cup.
– There is a dickload of backlash in the factory Torsen LSD. It's normal, get used to the clunking.
– R154's handle big power, but hate being shifted too quickly. Don't flat shift, or you'll be changing sychro's often.
– epc-data.com for finding parts
– amayama.com for ordering genuine parts using the part numbers from epc-data. These 2 websites are your new best friends.
HYDRO FAN!!!!! It works fantastic but it is a pain in the butt anytime you want to work on the front of the motor! I put in electric fans in my JZA70 Supra. I have the same motor and cant wait to see what you guy do to it!

I really like the Toyota Soarer also. If I'm not mistaken it also comes with a 1JZ but it is a Coupe. See one around my area in Milwaukee Wisconsin from time to time.
