  1. Most likely cause at 23:00 on the Cobalt was a bad thermostat. Most any Gm with overheating all of the sudden on a good runing car… thermostat stuck near or at closed. Common issue.

  2. Indicated speed on a car is proportional to tire outside diameter. Worn tires will cause a higher indicated speed. Increasing the tire size (first number) will cause the indicated speed to drop.

  3. Hey I changed the head gasket on my wife's 2001 honda accord now it's leaking coolant from the back of the engine from between the thermostat housing and a brass pipe could u tell me how to stop this please

  4. @ericthecarguy
Sir, I have a toyota Allion 2.0L VVTI.
I use fully synthetic Mobil1 in my vehicle, and it has been 1 year since my last opil change with only 3400 Miles since the oil change. Should i change the oil now or i can go on for another 2000 Miles? Time VS Mileage dilemma.. ?

  5. Erick buenas noches, gracias por todo lo que enseñas a las personas que visitamos tu portal en You Tube, soy un asiduo visitante a tus vídeos, felicidades por ser tan progresista. Sigue adelante

  6. To add onto the question at 24 min. Check oil condition if motor oil is present. Look if coolant has entered and mixed in with the motor oil (looks like chocolate milk) This should help you determine if the head gasket has failed or not.

If the spark plugs are still installed and tight, turning the crankshaft should have some resistance, at least you know you have some compression.
