  1. I know Scotty Kilmer likes Akebono. From what I see though is that any ceramic pads are not as good as the other classy metal dusty whatever pads. Just moved to Texas from Ohio and Traffic sucks down here, insurance high, some Cuban no teeth jack*** ran me off the road to merge when he had to room. Either my car got hit or I moved over. ETC brakes are super important down here. I have 2012 Ford Fusion and drive 210 miles per week for school. What do you think about ceramic v metal classic and what about Wagner vs everwear from Advanced Auto.

  2. Do U have a video on how to find a EGR Valve on a 2007 Cheverolet Tahoe LTZ 5.3L Flex fuel engine? my engine is idling and I can smell gas from it.

  3. hey I have a 2005 pacific that when I'm diving the car gives out it still be running but the rpm go up and down like it want to cut off and the gas peddle has no response so I stop and pull over and cut the car off then turn it right back on and it diverse fine for a minute I've changed the egr value and the alternator I have codes for a o2 but can u please tell me what u think if it easier to say or the phone then u can call me at 2603100011

  4. hi, i have a 92 hatchback civic. and ive replaced the tps and fuel filter, i also tightened down that plastic sleeve in the fast idle valve… but when i start the car, and give it throttle quickly, it sputters and hesitates. but if I slowly press the gas down it will rev to its full range, any idea what would be causing this?

  5. Car detailer here, you wash the motor at your own risk. If you're smart about it you'll be fine. Although, I won't do a customers car unless they ask. Avoid pressure washers and use a nice soft degreaser. All that said, I only risk it because unlike most detailers, im also a qualified mechanic.

  6. Eric I enjoy your videos they are great. I had a question I been wanting 2006 rsx type s since high school I'm 25 now and I found a great one with about 80k miles one owner. any advice when I go look at it i really love that specific car basically my dream car, and i been patient until i found the right one, but since your the expert what advise do you have on this specif vehicle im planning on owning for well over10 years after i purchase it. any heads up for this specific vehicle?

  7. Eric, I asked the question about video and audio being in sync and you were clearly irritated by that. I apologize and didn't mean it in any inflammatory way. I was genuinely curious about how live broadcasts have that delay. I love the idea of cord-cutting, but I just don't think the technology is there yet. It was an AMA so I fired away. Great work and thanks for doing these. Can't wait to do the brake service you mentioned. Didn't even know there was such a thing.

  8. My Kia Forte had to have 90 octane put in it on a trip. We could not find 93 octane anywhere, The side effects were very obvious to me and almost immediate. Very low acceleration from stop, very poor idle, I had to floor it to pass on the HW. I would not advise ignoring the manufactures instructions on octane.

  9. Hi Eric, here's a thought: Since with the new Youtube live streaming format, you can't see the chat that goes on during the live stream anyways, so the direct interaction between you and whoever watches this stream live isn't there any more, why not just prerecord these sessions and post them as a video at the specific time when the live stream was supposed to happen? OK, people couldn't chat with each other during the event any more, but that's what the comments are there for. I'm asking this mainly because the internet connection in your shop seems to be quite slow, which makes for a very choppy video where the audio sometimes is terribly out of sync, so live streaming doesn't seem to work very well anyways (and as it is now, it poses no advantage either, because of the lack of direct interaction). But it would make the video much more pleasant to watch for anyone who doesn't watch it live (since you're streaming live a 1am anyways, at least for us European viewers, it isn't much of a difference most of the time, LOL).

  10. The guy with the Ford Taurus SHO needs a dealer level scan tool to bleed the system. No other way around it. Panic stops that engage the ABS system will not work as on some other systems. Hope this helps.
