First Drift Collision + Best Tandem Yet!

Odds were in our favor and we were able to make it out to Lock City Drift at Thompson Speedway. I got some good runs in and accidentally came in a little too hot… whoops!

PS: Thumbnail picture was way too perfect not to use. Just want to clarify that Haggard was killing it all day and pretty much everyone was spinning in the rain. That track gets slick!

  1. I did not anticipate giving money towards fixing the car I hit to cause such a big deal in the comments. To elaborate a bit more… He seemed pretty bummed and I felt really bad. This wasn't just any drift missile 240, his car was exceptionally clean and I can imagine how bummed I would've been had I been the one hit. It wasn't any crazy amount, just enough to cover if he wanted a PDR guy to come out and pull the panel out. Yes, crashing should be expected on any track, but this was 100% my fault for driving too aggressively. A lot of drivers develop preconceived notions of me based on what they see on the internet and the last thing I want people to think is that I just carelessly hit peoples cars and laugh about it. I'll be traveling to a lot of other tracks on this trip and I want to be able to tandem with people – there is a lot of trust that goes into that especially with someone you don't know. I would have loved to lend a hand fixing the damage, but unfortunately body work is not a skill of mine. Hope you understand where I'm coming from!

  2. i think a big reason people in the comments think you shouldnt have paid for the hit is because they probably live with their parents and have shit jobs, and would never pay for anything that didn't directly benefit them. the idea of a charitable act is foreign to them. when you have a successful channel and the money to pay for engines and parts and cars, you can give someone some cash for dent removal. if you're too broke to be charitable, then fine. but don't get mad at other people when they are.

  3. Eurobeat should come with a disclaimer that while it does improve your driving speed and confidence it does nothing for your skill level

  4. Why I like ur 240 is because it has no traction when it slips and I know that's not a good thing in normal cars but drift cars is fun cause you know ur going sideways
