First Track Day with my Shelby GT350

Words can’t describe the heavenly noises that come out of the GT350s high revving V8… So just listen! My first legit track day at PBIR was with this GT350 – probably not the ideal starter car, but I’m proud of how I did! Support us with some sweet merch 🙂

  1. they fixed that power out of the corner business that the pre 2019 models experienced… And yes Camber Plates as well… all good

  2. Track day tip: Please listen to your instructor(s). At 3:04 and 3:16, your instructor tells you not to worry about the car behind you and then says to track out. You pulled to the inside, which is wrong. He said this because you, as the slower car, should stay on line and point the faster car by you off line. This makes passing predicable for both cars and slower car/driver stays on the line and the more experienced driver to handle going offline and back on line. And When you question being between gears, just stay in gear instead of downshifting; you'll spend more time wasted between shifts than the car just pulling a little slower in the taller gear. Stay safe. Keep the shiny side up.

  3. Bro Awesome video! Man I love your transparency. When you said 1.27 is said wow but 132 is still a good time! I have a 2020 GT 350 in Wimbeldon White with a blue stripe. I love it. I don't plan to track it. My Sunday drive with the wife on my favorite road not going too fast. I love the exhaust sound. Thanks for sharing!

  4. My son is head inspector at BMW I S.C.. He drives a 2018 Mustang and said he would never buy a BMW because he sees all the quality issues they have. They actually crush brand new BMW at the factory because they cannot fix them. You are getting raped on price of a BMW. You would freak out at knowing what they have in them. I will not state here they get very upset. They make right at 400% profit on their cars.

  5. Keep it as a daily driver & track car; the stock ties for the street, and a 2nd set of wheels with some stickier rubber, like the Michelin Sprt Cup 2 tires that came on the 2019 GT350…also install the Ford Performance catch cans (30 minute install for both sides) if you’re gonna track it regularly. This car has the sound of FREEDOM!

  6. Good production, and nice car. I literally just bought a black stripe delete 350r this morning. Looking for track vids for inspiration 😂

  7. You need to get a truck and tow your car to the track. It saves a LOT of time, trust. Rent one with a trailer for a week and you'll never go back.

Edit: you just said you weren't a member at 2:20 so I guess nevermind I though you had the funds.

  8. And ur top speed on the track was 142 on the straight? I was going 140 on a highway (didn't get caught) in a vw gti

  9. Ya but the interior of a lotus is 'super cheap' the dashboard shrinks up if in sunlight and heat too long and the glue comes undone and costs thousands of dollars to fix
