I ditched my junk BMW M5 V10 at auction for a cheap Mini Cooper S R56. It’s DEAD but I think it’s an easy fix; who knows what will happen but for it’s $1,000 purchase price it will be tough to lose!

  1. I own two Mini Cooper r56, the key you have is not the oem one, is an aftermarket version of it. Most people buy the aftermarket key shell 'cause if you want to replace the foab battery on the oem one you have to WELD it on the chip.
Second thing, I had the same problem with the lock, red steering wheel logo. I've been fixing it wrapping the cas module with thermal tape, the error A0AA is casued by the heat of the sun hitting the dashboard

  2. 🤦🤦👍👍👍👍👍😍😍😍😍😍wow…so cheap….if like this price for sure can buy it …cool…but how about the condition of the car???My opinion if the condition ok without any major repair you can sell it and make profit…..

  3. i just had my motor replace a week ago and now am having the same steering wheel lock light coming on
Car starts and runs fine but the lights doesn't go away, wonder if i do the same thing that you did in this video, would that turn off the steering wheel lock light off? Remote still opens and closes the door and actives the alarm

  4. I wouldn’t spend a penny on that car. Save yourself some time, money, sanity and send it straight back to auction. The Peugeot engines in the R56 are extremely unreliable. I know I owned one and certainly won’t buy another.

  5. Sam, thank you once again for making me realise my car problems aren't actually too bad . I must've missed this one when you got it
