This was the cheapest, Ford F250 Powerstroke 6.7 4×4 I’ve ever encountered at the auto auction. It has a clean title, but it was the most disastrous purchase I’ve made in a long time. @Rich Rebuilds and I also used it to remove my neighbors cactus, which worked… kinda.

  1. Take it to a good Ford mechanic and fix all the codes. Then, maybe, you could recoup most of your investment

  2. I am a Ford diesel tech, I work on these everyday the bad ride could very well be the body mounts they are trash on the 2011-16 super duty and the crankcase filter on those years almost never goes bad but when they do it creates excessive pressure inside the engine so that's why they leak bc the pressure has to escape somehow, now if you wanna test is the crankcase filter is plugged you can start the truck and take the oil cap off and if it blows out then The filter is bad and hat could be the cause to your oil leak although 11-16 except 2013 had lots of oil leaks from the oil pan gasket

  3. Fix the truck that what your channels for. Second The Cactus was dumb. It runs it’s a diesel. It a truck the get used. If you want a lux one go buy one like WatchJRGo or Auto Auctions Rebuild. I like content on how cars are fixed, modified or customized.

  4. yeah a truck that old there is a reason someone old it. theres a reason why this got sent to auction and is not sitting on a dealer lot.

  5. Hey Sam, you picked up a beat up truck at auction, drove it 100 miles home….then you checked the oil levels! It takes 15 seconds to check the oil, you should do it with every car you buy and definitely before you drive it.

  6. Vacuum pump gasket……..crank case seal, and valve cover gasket….welcome to the power stroke life. Valve cover gasket …..replace first.

  7. Sam ,kick this one to the curb ,the cost to make it decent isnot worth it ,look for a better one ,don't waste your time and money.IMHO

  8. 100% an oil field work truck, most likely had a steel work bed on it originally, and the last owner thought they could flip it by throwing a cheap/damaged bed on it and fixing it up.

  9. This looks like it was a Vinwiki flood special that should be sent up to J and J Wrecking for parting out, like it got caught in a south texas flood and was then beat on from then on out.

  10. As much as I hate Ford, truck prices are so insane right now you could do the bare minimum (as in, skip the cosmetics) on this truck put in a little sweat equity and probably still make $10K or more on it.
