At first I was thinking I’d just be trying out another hand cleaner. I was surprised to find that it was a bit more than that. After cleaning my hands they felt soft and healthy. Yea, not something you’d associate with an auto mechanics hands, but that’s the way it felt. It even helped with the small cuts I had on my hands. I would definitely recommend this product for those looking for a good hand cleaner.

  1. Unlike most of you, I've tried this. It uses walnut shells in a non flammable "sauce" that takes away heavy metals and led from your hands.(20sec in) If you have cuts on your hands, it won't sting. Doesn't shred your hands like pumice or leave an orange petroleum smell behind.

  2. ETGC has gone rogue people!  This video is contradictory to the "Stay Dirty" ethos.  I'm sad to say this but I think we've lost our beloved mechanic.

  3. My compliments to Brian for excellent camera work !  I like that short move at the end when you shifted with the soap container.
Tell me true now !  Are you really in love with that formula or is that a little bit the "paid corporate shill" talking ? 😀  (Sure wish we could plant animated laughys in here !!!)

  4. Hey, Eric, can you keep that intro music playing in the background for longer? Or make it fade out over a longer time period? The part where the "beat begins" is much better than the very beginning (if everything I said makes sense…)

  5. Have you guys seen the Chris fix channel? It's just like how ericthecarguy used to be. Really worth checking out.

  6. Rather than dumping the bacon grease down the drain my wife collects it in a metal can. I started using it on my greasy hands with hot water. Works great and who doesn't like bacon.

  7. I love your videos so much Eric thank you for everything. I want to be a mechanic when I grow up but for now a mechanics apprentice and your videos are the best. Keep it up

  8. I had a hand cleaner with sawdust in it (instead if the sand stuff) and that was the best stuff I ever used. Unfortunately I can't find it anymore…

  9. Try some Tide liquid laundry detergent.. it leaves your hands feeling weird, but cleans any grease off really easily.  Also.. wear gloves.

  10. 17 bucks for soap? expensive. dont care how much it works. whats wrong with water and a little time and elbow grease? always works for me.

  11. Hey Erica, next time you should review some MANicure nailpolish products or something! Haha your hands do need some lawnmowing, perhaps a manly waxing?

  12. They dont list their ingredients. And on the pricy side. Id rather get the Dr. Bronners Organic Castile (natural oilbased) Magic Soap. Bit cheaper and very concentrated so it lasts forever.

  13. at $17 for a 20oz bottle!!
ill NEVER buy that!  you'll go through that bottle in a week…

    Goop Hand Cleaner ftw!

at $2 for a 14oz container and it gets grease and oil stains outta my clothes like a champ!

  14. Must have been near a full moon, you have got to be a werewolf with those hairy paws. I use soft scrub, no conditioner though. For conditioner try bag balm it's made for dairy cows utters, sold at feed stores.
