1. Copart should just ban these dodgy brokers. Surly them doing this is stealing their intellectual property

2. Actually the highest bid is not yet exposed, it's just the second highest bid + minimum increment amount, unless the highest bid is less than these in which case it would actually be that one.

I am a professional at buying from copart and IAAI and I can tell you its certainly better to bid live and not put a proxy bid or put a maximum bid prior to the sale especially if you are a using a broker. If you are using a broker you should obviously and certainly be biding live period. You did all the complicated BS to orchestrate a broker….but you are to busy to bid live? Stop buying cars online if that is the case. Pre bidding is good if you are a dealer and you see something you are slightly interested in and want to put a cheap amusing long shot bid in for.

8. I see you use erepairables but they don't list full vin# or seller(I only want to bid if from insurance co.) Do you find the car on the auction co site then go to erepairables for the bid? They also charge a fee to join where most other brokers only charge if you win something….how do they compare to others?

9. Hi Sam, great videos… My question is about fees… It seems that CoPart has high fees if you buy for personal use (homeowner) crazy 20%. Does it apply if you buy via broker like DashHub?

10. How did u find your copart broker that works for $250??? Dashub is so fucking greedy. They want practically $700 on average for cars that are only valued at $2,000 dollars. I need a broker like u have.

16. Ok so if the winner in the case of the merc example lets say the bid increment was $100 and the auction ended at $7700, what would happen to the difference of $660? Would dashub just take that $ or would they price the car @$7700+fees/registration/etc.

25. I think anyone who has used copart already knows sellers appear to know your high bid. Far to many stories of auctions magically going to the winners max bid.

39. Dashubs minimum bid is not real almost all the bids on there are around $900. I used autobidmaster to win a 94 Mustang. On autobidmaster it said the bid was at $125 I put a Max bid of 800 however dashhub said it was at 890 or so not to mention their fees are more expensive and with that 900 minimal bid makes it easier for those fees to rack up faster. So it's not possible to win a car for less than 900 on their site. I ended up winning the 94 Mustang for $200. I really like autobidmaster the only thing I didn't like is the shipping I paid for their premium membership and they said you would get a extra discount on shipping. The shipping for my Mustang was $931 from Minneapolis to Texas. When the guy said I won and he said the shipping would be $931 I told him I had the premium and it said I get a discount the guy thought for like 5 seconds and he said okay$900 and I was like this discount shit. So if you use autobidmaster try to pick up the vehicle yourself or get someone else to pick up the vehicle for you don't go through them you'll pay out the ass. I talked to the driver that delivered my Mustang and he said they paid him $550 to deliver the vehicle I told him that I paid 900 we were both pissed
