My WRECKED Ford Focus RS Getting It’s Frame Repaired After Accident!

My salvage Ford Focus RS from Copart has been MIA from the channel; however I finally got it in to a body shop to do the frame work. We will have it back soon, and then the RS7 and Focus RS will be complete around the same time!

  1. It's strange to watch these videos out of order as I'm watching the rebuild project playlists and don't know the whole overarching story. Which car did you keep? The Ford or the Corvette? I'd love to get a Corvette one day…

  2. Sam, Keep the RS. As you said, the interior of the Vette is dated. With the RS it 's practical and fun all rolled into one. Great video, keep the content coming!!

  3. I DD a focus rs. On paper I would say keep the RS… but arn't vette guys REALLLLY picky about salvage cars and mods on the whole? if so Id say it may be easier to get your cash back out of the salvaged RS since even salvage title they seem to go for 25k ish.

  4. Evening, are you going to continue vids on the RS project? Am I missing the links to this projects? Did you sell it to do the R8? At least let us know please.

  5. A little off topic, but it would be cool if you had a 10 second montage of yourself drifting and driving really fast and goin 'wooooooo!' in the outro as opposed to a blank screen.

  6. keep the RS bro, thats my dream car man! you can always find a corvette, but a RS is limited edition bro! all the way from south Africa man! keep up the good work

  7. Per the 2016 Ford Focus Workshop manual:

"NOTICE: No frame rail sectioning is allowed on this vehicle. Components must be replaced at the factory seams."

Just curious did they actually "section" a piece of the rail in? Did you have to sign a release if they did?

  8. You'll have to drive both and decide for yourself. They are two different cars and their appeal is different in the same way a Carrera and and RS are different. i've owned two Carrera's and both an Focus ST and and now an '18 RS. In no way is the RS a direct comparison to the Carrera but both the ST and the RS are way more FUN. Hard to get the smile off my face after a trip in either of them. A long weekend trip with the wife… the Corvette will probably get the nod but want to do a day trip with some freeway point and squirt driving and canyon carving, I'd take the RS or ST any day.

  9. Really enjoyed this series of videos, excellent camera work some good production too. Your style is down to earth and highly relatable and even though I don't have any great link to Ford RS cars, I was hooked after the first few minutes. The other thing that I really like is that there's a real sense that this is no quick win here, buying a wreck for a few thousand dollars and selling for top dollar having spent nothing! It's real world mechanics that takes time, money, hassle and at the end of it no real guarantees. I really hope that it does work out and I look forward to seeing RS returns. If you ever decide to do a Porsche Boxster S let me know!!

  10. Keep the Vette. Its faster, has a much more reliable LS engine, better looking, and its a Chevy.
    Sell the Ford Fiesta.
