2. Any good ideas on what to do if the new pads won't fit the adjuster cylinder ?
   My adjuster is also on the bottom making it even worse to see our work on, love the Camaro but it's a pain to work on sometimes…

3. Hey @EricTheCarGuy, any tricks for a seizing parking brake cable? I picked up an 09 civic Si and the parking brake started to stick on the drivers side. Can the cable, or connection point be lubricated at the caliper connection point? I checked for the cable getting caught up but nothing out of the norm. Just feels like there should be some lubrication/maintenance point, hoping to not have to replace cable. Apparently this generation of Hondas are common to this. :/

4. Isn't the adjustment screw backed all the way off? Is that what caused the pads to seem to be 'too thick'? Pure novice here. Just asking.

11. I had the same problem with the drum not fitting on new shoes. If you accurately compare the new shoe size to the Honda ones it seems these Chinese made ones are slightly larger diameter and do not allow the drum to fit. I think it's because of manufacturing for the shoes looks like they are punched out and there is slightly extra material on the contact points. Grind a little material off the shoes where they contact the adjuster and up top where they contact the anchor and they will fit nicely.

13. I so wish I could convince this long term " buddy " I know would watch one of these vids and replace his own brakes on a 2006 Benz E350…Dealer wants a $1000+ to do the work….And, keeps his car all freaking day !!!!. He a full-time helicopter tech, but, won't work on none of his stuff….

16. Hi Eric, great video. Question. I just dropped my subframe on my '96 Porsche. I had to cut the parking break cable as I couldn't get the hub off to get to the connector. I had already removed my axle so I couldn't use my 3 jay puller to get the hub off. Any other way to get it off?

22. I remember when I first started to become a technician. One of the first jobs I had in a shop was to change break shoes on a drum/hat configuration in maybe an 82 model Corvette Stingray. I knew exactly what to do, but due to the lack of hands on experience, it took a little while. Lol
    For those of you reading comments, make sure to wear safety glasses while working with these springs.

24. Urgent question, when I was replacing my rotors, the pad got stuck to the disc but only on one side. The parking brake is fully off. Once I removed the stuck rotor, I realized the pad has been removed from its normal position and is now being pushed up against the wheel hub. Do I have to get all new pads now? Or can I correct the situation. Moneys really tight and I have to fix my brakes to get to work.

28. If you (the viewer) came here looking for how to replace the parking brakes on your FRS or BRZ, yes, this is pretty close to our parking brake replacement process (no plug on the rotor to worry about though). 🙂 (The lack of BRZ-specific parking brake vids is why I’m here)

29. Hi my parking brake shoes gets SUPER squeaky whenever i put on the e brakes, should i just get it greased up or change whole thing (pads & all) E brake works perfectly fine if not from the noise..🤔 i wonder if its just an old spring (both sides are noisy..)

30. I'm replacing all 4 discs on my car soon, I'm pretty sure that it has a parking brake shoe hiding under the hub. I just hope the brake shoes have some meat left on them, as this job seems really fiddly for my pork sausage fingers !

36. BAD IDEA. Flat spots by shaving is not good. Maybe you should have adjusted the adjusters first to see if it would give you enough space to put the rotor on.
