We go through the internals of my newly acquired RB25 and find some pretty crazy stuff inside… It may be a setback, but I’m excited for where this build is now heading πŸ™‚

  1. Bro quick question for the stock rb25det would I have to gap the rings bigger for more boost? I heard that bottom end is good till 500whp is that true

  2. Along with the oil drain for the head, you can also get oil restrictors to restrict the amount of oil that makes it to the head!

  3. I got valve float on a 7hp engine. Valve float happens when the spring pressure is not strong enough to close the valve faster than the cam can remain in contact. Worst case is the piston slaps the valve

  4. If your just going to beat the skyline up, then why bother painting the bay… why not just degrease it, clean it up best you can and send it…

  5. Would the cracked ring lands be from improperly gaped piston rings? Because if the gap were to small the heat would butt the ring together and crack the piston.
