Am I mistaking or the A arm that you bought to replace the damage one is different than the original one. And you are not replacing both sides, eventually your front A arms are going to be different? Is this ok?

Use a real hammer for separating joints, not one of those plastic coated dead blow hammers.

Next time you use a pickle fork use a 3lbs sledge or a steel hammer, it will make it way easier to separate parts. It shouldn’t take that long to pop a ball joint.
