  1. Interesting that he needed forged internals and a reinforced block for only 7.8psi. Many turbo 4 cylinders come from the factory at 15psi or higher.

  2. Eric your like watching the walking dead. leave us on this big cliff hanger. show off the motor but no car. make us painfully wait to see it. really i enjoy the videos just cant wait to see the end

  3. Hey Eric I go to UNOH so I noticed immediately that this was one of our dyno cells. Which instructor to you have contact with?

  4. I'm pretty sure the car will  run low 10's  in the quarter once the suspension is dialed in here is what you need at most tracks:
10.99 1/4-mile (6.99 1/8-mile) or quicker:-5-point roll bar is  okay to 10.00 1/4-mile (6.40 1/8-mile) in hardtop / t-top with un-altered floors, firewall and frame rails (wheel tubs are okay). If the floor and/or firewall has been modified, then a full roll cage is required beginning at a 10.99 e.t. or any vehicle running 135 mph or faster (regardless of e.t.). The roll cage must be constructed of  mild steel or chrome moly tubing (moly can be a smaller o.d and is lighter but more expensive). Roll cage must be padded anywhere the driver's helmet may contact it while in the driving position.-Convertibles require full roll cage at 10.99 and quicker.
-aftermarket axles with positive retention (c-clip eliminators)-Transmission shield SFI Spec 4.1 at 10.99 and quicker or 135 mph and quicker (blanket is okay, no expiration date)-Harmonic Balancer SFI Spec 18.1 (no expiration date)Car needs to have a  neutral safety switch Windows cannot be tinted. If you want to run slicks you need a driveshaft hoop. If your battery is in the trunk you need a cutoff switch.Radiator must have catch can. Those are general rules some tracks may have their own rules.

  5. 575 at 8psi isn't bad but there is definitely more on the table
stiff valve springs and solid roller is where I would have gone but those are some pretty stout numbers non the less
with solid rollers and 10 psi 700hp is more then likely, with EFI and 12PSI 800 is likely

  6. What was the fluid coming from the oil cap area and i seen a fluid being sprayed out the back? you can see it near the end of the vid.
