If you have issues with the block and usually it’s between 3-4 piston which is a week spot then you get a LP gas block which people in Australia are getting and they hold more horse power or the other option is a billet block which are $10,000 for bare there’s one in a drag car over there. If you have any issues there’s a few dyno performance shops over here that would be happy to help you with what you are chasing with power and parts. I live in Brisbane Queensland and I take my car to real dyno performance in Kippa Ring my mate had his car done at HI Toque performance Gold Coast Queensland and the other performance shop I have heard of that’s knowledgeable about barra’s is BTA performance in Sydney or Melbourne. I have spent $4,500 on my XR6 turbo and I have 411rwhp and I only had valve springs upgraded fuel pump injectors 1000cc 3,5 inch turbo back exhaust high flow cat and muffler and re map ecu. If I get a bigger intercooler and re map for the bigger intercooler I will have between 600-650rwhp then huge horse power getting bigger turbo and then it’s upgrading the drive line hopefully you can find the help you need and get to enjoy Aussie power. If you have to strip cars back and it’s a regular thing you should look into the new laser stripping mobile unit rust removal metal material if you are interested they are available on eBay worth a look and they have a video of it in use.
