Yeah that entertainment value was over 9000 😂 Loved this one
It's funny to see someone call Caltracs CHEAP LOL most guys use slapper(traction) bars. That 9in is deff overkill! All that modding parts not meant for a car is typical diy race stuff and yah tons of things I did before I had a welder.
I love these little cars and feel in love with rotary engine when I was a teenager Puerto Rico race teen came to atco race way but still have not built one but it is on my list after finishing my current projects
Nice,nice,ILover car ✌
stantos shocks vikings shocks QA1 shocks
Adam LZ Awesome Video I'm glad you guys fixed your Datsun 1200's Wheel hop problem and I can't wait to see more of the build
I love a lot of these australian japanese imports
a basic track bar which is a piece of 2" box section bolted with its own U bolts to each leaf springs eliminates axle hop/wheel hop(true correct name is axle tramp) completely and only cost $50 for a pair
0:35 look up tram bars we used them here in Australia years ago mat perfect all cars from drags shoot?? Street cars 😂
Why not just replace the suspension now? Seems like a lot of work just to keep leaf springs?
I love the second before
"Let me get this out of the way" FUCKING MOVES THE LIFT ARM 😂😂
7:01 fucking idiots gonna break of their fingers 😂😂
Hahaha, I have to ask does the 9" have a Gleason worm gear drive as we used to get from ford ranch wagons and they result in 200% more traction each axle than stock open or Posi units AND the work perfect for street racing. Very smooth on corners self compensating.
Watching this bring me back to old Adam videos and it’s amazing
Think you mean Before and after 😂
this video gives me PTSD lol
Original Datsun engine and trans for sale.
Im fairly impressed that Adam has a love for the older cars too. These days people just want new shyt…
Hey, my nissan champ 1400 ute has the same suspension in the rear lol. Maybe I should add a brace but keep the stock a14 motor cause I aint got no money to throw in a 13b bridgeported motor
a 9 inch came out in the late 50's bud
I have a 1200 ute I imported from Japan and I'm so glad that a big creator is giving it the love it deserves!
Sounds so good 👍
U can tell this fruit has never worked on a car in his life!!!
To not learn how to weld is bit like cutting coils. Once you know how you will look back and wonder how you ever got anything done.
Caltracks better send an endorsement check over for this vid.
Never understood why they dont use guards on their grinders. Idk if its different there but holy I would never
Gilmore belts, low with some three piece wheels 👌
Trac bars are a big thing in the diesel world for wheel hop
🔥🙏🙌
You could have just added something as a pinion snubber and clamped the front of the leafsprings. Also rear disks are totally pointless on such a light car…A Ford 9 inch? Its a rotary, why are you using a diff that can handle like 2000hp? You're wasting noticeable power just to turn that thing. I'm done, sorry.
Just because you can push your shocks in by hand doesn't necessarily mean the shocks are bad, they are generally different depending on the weight of the vehicle….they are ancient in your case and may not be perfect for what you want to do………… But that doesn't matter as much as you just brutality beating that leaf spring bushing, that hurt……c clamp bro, c clamp
