The PPD Northwest Detective Division is attempting to identify the individual responsible for this commercial gun point robbery.
On December 31, 2023, at 8:29am at 164 W Chelten Ave the offender entered the Rite Aid and robbed it point of gun. The complainant reported to police an unknown black male entered her store and acted as if he was going to buy an item. When the cashier opened the register, the offender pulled out a silver handgun and demanded cigarettes and the money. The offender fled with cash and 25 packs of Newports.
