  1. I think your folks Re amazed by you! I don’t know why I am addicted to your stories . My adult son has had his share of close calls! I am the worst enabling mom, wife, friend, I gave up drinking almost 30 years age, too many people I love are alcoholics. It is what it is- life is about choices and love. I am sorry about your choices that stifled your voice. Thank God you found your voice. You’re a Godsend Joe others rely on your help. In my opinion you should watch fit those who would take things from you. D is not your friend- he is a taker and believes he is untitled. You need a more substantial dog! Watch your back he is up to no good.

  2. Getting lost in the system really happens. It happened to me once and it was awful. My release date came around and I wasent paying attention cause I distracted myself so good I had no idea what month and day it was. I realized it 2 and a half months after the fact. I said something to staff and it took them 2 days to figure out that it was a computer error. The computer said I still had time left cause nobody updated my gain time.

  3. Joe, I’m glad you’re out and on the right road, you learned the hard way but we wouldn’t have this awesome show (that I watch everyday) now. Sorry you went through it all but thank you for the videos. I really enjoy them as I’m sure a lot of other people do as well

  4. The 2nd one reminds me of getting released from rehab… I couldnt leave until I found a "sober living home" to go to because they were convinced I wasn't ready to go home yet. If I left without, it would be considered AMA and my insurance wouldn't cover rehab. It was hell finding an open bed in a home that wasn't a complete trash hole. I heard horror stories about how some people had to live in places with tarps over the house in place of actually getting roof repairs and there were holes in the fucking roof. I got "lucky" because I just had to live in the basement with 4 other women, separated into 2 "rooms" by a makeshift curtain in the doorway. It was right by the laundry room and I worked late at night, so whenever I was trying to sleep, everyone was doing their damn laundry, talking loudly, waking me up every 20 minutes. I tried to make friends with the girls, but they all fucked me over. And I got a reputation for being sad and soft. I got the fuck out of there as soon as I could. It probably was a little good for me though because I had a reinvigorated sense of work ethic and drive because I had to commit to be able to afford to leave. I didnt care about the accountability and having to go to meetings, but the constant inquisitions and random drug testing in front of a witness (I was clean, but it sucks to piss in front of people) and lack of privacy… Oh, and did I mention that this hell hole cost $700 a month?? They claimed it was worth it because of "therapeutic" reasons, but the most we ever got was yelled at and a mandatory weekly house meeting. They didnt do shit for me. Or anyone else. Not to mention, while living there, I got hit by a car walking home and also had a man expose himself to me & and start masturbating with no consequences from the cops and we had several stalkers because they knew we were a recover house full of women. Yep. Had to get the fuck out of there

  5. Your impression of the guy peeking over the edge of the bunk at you was hilarious! I don't know how you manage to make experiences that must have been pretty unnerving so funny, but kudos. Also, super cool of you to share these experiences to do some good in the world.

  6. Hey Joe that's a cool shirt where can I get one oh by the way I know exactly what you're talkin about my friend I've been in and out since I was 18 not much time as you but I've done my share
