For the “newbies” it is a trial by fire as they learn first-hand that policing, like everything else, is different in Alaska.

Wait am I missing something or was he not driving the car the call said they were arguing about getting in the car and when the cop got to them it looked like they hadn’t left yet so how could he dui if he never drove I understand seeing if he’s okay to drive ofc but he couldn’t get a dui cause he wasn’t driving idk I probably missed something

You get caught smelling like alcohol and driving, you are going to jail. Consistent in all 50 states. You are not getting out of it.

Interesting laws out there, he was not driving nor was he in the commission of driving the vehicle. Public defender would spank that in the court of law… These guys are super troopers
Watching bar rescue I found out a lot of bartenders over pour and serve the wrong proportion of drink. So a person can have two drinks and be over the legal limit because there are some unsafe bars out there.
