  1. She had my sympathy until she choose not to press charges, the other lady basically committed fraud but the other woman "feeling sorry" decided to let that woman get away with a crime. This is why crime has gone up in recent years, because idiots like this woman aren't willing to do what is needed to be done and actually punish people for breaking the law (IE: Pressing charges)

  2. I’ve been actually robbed twice once by gun while working at taco bell when I was 17 in northern Cali and then another by knife at a train station in la .. this was stolen money which is messed up but this interview is carrying on like she didn’t get her justice money was returned and she was fired 😂🤦🏻‍♀️stupid episode

  3. I first saw Juana Martinez confronting a Starbucks employee the one who stole her card information and went to shop at Ralph's, it was a 19 year that spent $200 on that woman's credit card. She had braces on her teeth when she confronted the worker back in 2016. Since she got married last year, her last name is Espinoza now and she doesn't wear braces anymore so she chose to do her interview on A&E's I Survived A Crime. Juana did the right thing buy standing up for herself and put the employee in her place without backing down.

  4. “I can give you the $150 right now”….what was she gonna pull it out the register? She should have pressed charges. Anyone would be “remorseful” and “apologetic” if they were caught red handed. 19 is definitely old enough to know better, her getting away with this will make it so she does not change. She actually would have been doing her a justice by pressing charges. That may have potential steered her in the right direction.

  5. As an ex barista, we are supposed to NEVER take a card with us somewhere. It's supposed to always stay at the window. When we need paper we had to tell the customer we were out and ask if they are okay waiting while we refill the machine. If on the rare chance the card reader isn't working at the window, my store had portable card readers so we would bring the one from the cafe up or just let customers know our card reader is down. If a barista or anywhere like this ever says "Oh i need to take your card to the back for …." NEVER LET THEM!

  6. she did the right thing, fraudulent use of a credit/debit card is a felony and shes only 19. no need to ruin her entire life over it. hopefully she learned her lesson
