  27. Farmiga gets a lot of praise, and rightly so, but this relationship would never have worked if Nestor Carbonell weren't so exceptional as the stoic, close-to-the-vest Romero. He plays off Farmiga extremely well. His reactions to Norma's shenanigans always seem to be perfect acting choices.

  33. That reaction to her ring when he put on her finger and her leaning in for more kissing love the whole scene. Norma and Alex you can't help but root for them.
