My son also has autism and epilepsy. I used to think that he was not breathing and choking on his tongue. The good news is my son's neurologist told me that they are breathing(even though they do not look like it) and they are not choking. phew!! I was so relieved to hear that. Just keep them on their side and wait it out.
And lets add to the fight. Lets go after these public schools who make you fight for what your kids deserve!!!!
Jenny I loved the way your are and for the mature mother that you've become. I to have a daughter with autism and she's 14 born September 3, 2000.. That's when autism actually turned me into a better person a better mother able to understand the not so understanding.. Lol….tantrums if certain foods touch or colors. Tantrums and screaming fits before and after anything we go do… Go carts to eating….so look at this as are guardian angels that are here on earth. Been through a lot and being low income has it's challenges especially for her treatment stuff for home…but we make a great team, warrior's…….. Love ya from Detroit 313.
