  4. Why does everyone suddenly think that everyone is in on it when the production value is higher? Of course they are going to have better tricks than they could do at anytime, anywhere because they now have the money to do so. Magic isn't a cheap profession. This can be done to people that aren't in on it because it's not actually the person that is levitating, it's the box so it's not like the person has some sort of harness they needed to put on beforehand. The reason peoples reactions seem kind of fake in these programs is because either a. it seems like they are overreacting because they are generally freaked out or b. they seem like they are acting impressed and that's because they don't know how to react. As a magician myself I get a mix of both whenever I perform on the streets. I just think it's sad that people suddenly think that because it's on TV that they are obviously using actors (with the exception of maybe one or two shows cough*Dynamo*cough**cough*Criss*cough but not including David Blaines Real or Fake which literally uses actors as the drawcard)

  5. THESE NEW WANA BE CAMERA TRICK MAGICANS ,, IF U CANT PUT IN TIME TO PRACTICE YOUR OWN TRICKS DONT GO AND MAKE CAMERA TRICKS TO MAKE UR SELF LOOK LIKE A PRO.. WERE NOT STUPID

  6. I guess my question would be why do they have on mics? When they hug you can hear the mic rub against their clothes … lol "Magicians" these days gotta try harder!

  7. This clip is really painful to watch.  It's not "magic" or "illusion"… unless I'm to ignore the fact that the people are "in" on the trick, and I'd also have to ignore that even Andrew couldn't keep the "pendulum" from swinging when he tried to steady it after being lifted.  The acting isn't all that great, nor is the "illusion" aspect of it…. so I'm not sure what to think.  I would suggest watching Andrew's "regular" YouTube videos — the guy is very impressive.  This show, however, just seems like another Blaine/Angel show straight from the copy machine.  Lots of pretend drama… lots of shills/plants used… and I'm sure loads of camera editing where required to pull off the impossible.  This is how the art of magic gets trashed — when people realize that what they're seeing can ONLY be seen through a television… because if they were there in real life there would be no illusion at all.
