4. I think the hardest part to watch is that somewhere in there, Sandra is still working her legal angles to keep the property. On one hand, she's accepting the new owners' kindness and on the other hand, she's still trying to put legal roadblocks in front of them to keep their house away from them. On one hand, she's accepting help from Hoarders for on-the-spot therapy and to clean out the house but on the other hand, she has no real intention of leaving. There's a sense of entitlement in there…and it seems like it's been there her whole life since her brothers (all THREE grown men) can't even figure out how to stand up to her and get power of attorney if necessary. It wouldn't have been that hard to prove that was mentally incapable of handling business dealings with a few inspections and pictures of what she did to a formerly beautiful property, the conditions she was living in, and the dangers inside the house.

5. Why do you even bother to try and negotiate with this woman? Just take her away for a few days, then get rid of the lot. These hoarders are too ill to make rational decisions.

6. I saw the whole episode. I don’t know what happened to her in her life but somewhere along the path of life she decided that buying or storing everything she could in life was what mattered…. and in the 1980s there was a ton of buying. Even now, when I myself get an urge to buy even a new pair of socks, I stop and think about this lady. She is exactly what I never want to be.

7. Can’t help but wonder how Sandra went from successful business person to the person we see on this episode

8. Just watched this episode in my country. So sad. And yet these new owners were beyond amazing!
   I tend to think that hoarding is either incurable or that the science simply doesn't know how to handle it yet.
   These cases are tragedies! (I speak from experience, my late father was a hoarder).

9. There was an episode of an older man who lived in Arizona who showed signs of dementia and the psychologist had him removed from the process and off his property. No cops, judge, or legal route was taken. I'm sorry but Mike had no spine whatsoever in having the deputy remove Sandra off the couples property after being lied and manipulated by her several times.

11. I am so so impressed with the patience of the young guy that's her neighbor. The couple that bought the house. This episode literally have me faith in humanity. Literally just wow. Thank you. So sad. But so beautiful around the edges.

13. This episode left me quite depressed. What a horrible situation for all the people involved. I understand perfectly well that hoarding is a mental condition… however, in this particular case, I wonder if the woman couldn't have been taken to another place after the agreement of auctioning the salvageable stuff and giving her the money. Since she wasn't the owner any longer, this could have relaxed and eased all the job. It was obvious things were to get do hard if she was in the middle. She showed her temper right from the start.

14. This episode really shows humanity of friendship and caring and support. The new owners and her own crew of helpers

15. I didn’t feel sorry for Sandra in the slightest. The people I felt sorry for were the good people that tried time and time again to help her and she just continuously took advantage of them. She may be sick in the hoarding capacity, but beyond that, she knew EXACTLY what she was doing anyway. It’s kinda hard to have compassion for someone who goes out of their way to mistreat those around her trying to help her out anyway 🤷‍♀️. I would have had her leave the minute she started causing any kind of trouble and then mailed her a check for the things they were able to sell at auction. She would have been one less headache that I would have had to deal with on top of everything else anyway 🙄😒

16. DELUSIONAL !!!!!!! Those two gentlemen have created a gorgeous B& B of that home.

17. This couple is so kind. They went above and beyond for her.

18. It would have been kinder to remove her from the property and clear the house quickly rather than indirectly enabling her to continue to hoard.

19. I think that if you have a disorder you should recieve counseling before they do the cleanup, but I understand that’s not how the remains interesting.

20. Those guys definitely had more patience for her than I would’ve had. Kudos to them for being kind enough to let her sell those things but they let her stick around entirely too long. I would have had the sheriff remove her as she was inhibiting the cleanup crew from doing their job

21. So after all of this and agreeing to, she spends all night pulling things out of the dumpster and then lieing about it.

22. This episode makes me want to frantically get rid of some things!

23. Don’t watch this episode unless you are prepared to feel gutted. The old woman is crazy as all get out, but watching everything go into the trash because of her obstinacy was horrible. She is a master manipulator and also is suffering hugely as her fantasy world crumbles.

24. Sandra is a Narcissist. She was happy when she could control things and people did exactly what she wanted them to do. She honestly thought she was going to have her way and be able to keep the house, people would end up giving into her. Every one was kind and patient with her…especially the owners, and she turned on them. How many of us would love to have 1/2 of the love and care she was shown?

25. They all just pitch in and enable her in the end? She’s singing a tune as she drives away? Those guys are gonna give that house a new life that she never could!

26. Most entertaining show I’ve ever seen! Talk about a master manipulator!!!

27. This lady don't realize that you cant take that material stuff to the grave. She is so prideful and stubborn. When she passes away, her spirit is is going to haunt that house.

29. I just watched this episode. Michael and Eric are angels on earth. If more people were like them this would would be so much better. Their parents must be so proud of them. ❤️ I also hope Sandra is doing well. Although she sufferers from some form of mental illness, she is obviously a very intelligent women. Imagine how hard it must be for her to come from the life she used to have and now ending up like this. How sad. I usually get somewhat frustrated with the hoarders on the program but I don’t feel that way with Sandra. I wish her the best!!

30. I just sat and watched the entire show for an hour and half on AE… this is the only episode I wish there was a follow up on..the guys where so kind, and tried to help her, both distraught over her ending… lots of tears, wondering how this woman is doing now?

    She never pay a dime for that house , she have an order to leave … so she have to leave right now or the dogs will eat her alive …

38. Doc Zasio wasted her tears on this woman as she tried an end around in dealing with the bank to keep the house from Julian and his partner. Sharon is not as mentally ill as Doc Zasio claims if she tried to be slick in trying to keep the house with a double cross deal with bank. Good thing that lawyer was there to quash that.

39. This was, of all the shows I've over the years watched, one of the most evocative episodes of the series. Her illness was so pervasive! The situation one of the saddest. And unique, with new owners of the home (and hoard) being involved in the process. Michael and Eric were such sweethearts! What generosity of spirit. The people who helped Sandra that final morning, they too were kind and selfless. Well, there was that one man who stormed off but I get that he was not going to tolerate Sandra's treatment. Understandably.

40. this was the saddest episode I ever seen she stayed in that house I believe 50 years she should of been gone and down sized it was sad she lost mostly everything I actually teared up… Because I knew someone who was a hoarder 😢😱😔😑 it's hard to believe it till you actually seen living proof of it

41. Sandra played each and everyone of them including the psychologist. She came out the winner.

42. Why are they coddling her? She is that difficult, she should be in a psychiatric hospital.

43. That lady did nothing but try to work at her way and make everybody think that they will do it her way. That's a situation where you need to remove that person because she is no longer the owner of that property she has been given ample time and was given chances by to gentleman to get things secured for her for some living and instead she yell at people she completely did the opposite and in my opinion she needed help far more than what they could have done

46. the two young sharks kicked the old woman out of her home. couldn't they pick another place to stay? or couldn't they give her at least one or two rooms out of the hundreds in the castle? how is it possible to have your house stolen like that?! this is outrageous and she behaved too well.
