  1. As a cat loving "cat lady" myself, I do understand what it's like to love cats, which is why could never allow my cats to live that way. It's abuse, period. And now I'm gonna go find my kitty and give him some chin scratches and make sure his litter boxes are extra clean.

  2. i honestly cannot believe Vula’s house. it was absolutely SHOCKING to see how much worse it got as it went on. the house needs to be burned! the whole thing is a biohazard! i’ve seen some pretty disgusting hoards but that one takes the cake

  3. I cant believe they let her keep any cats. That's just…awful. Your condoning animal abuse. "Oh it's fine. It won't be that bad if you just have 2. They will be safe" you guys are out of your f-ing minds. She is obviously very much mentally INCAPABLE of taking care of herself let alone a pet of any kind. Except maybe a rock.

  4. Horrible those poor poor cats ! The baby kittens that died she didn’t even seem sad or upset I’m a total stranger to this and I’m crying for those poor animals 😦😲

  5. A good few questions for us non-hoarders to ask about an item we're thinking about getting rid of.
1: How often do you see it?
2: How often do you use it?
3: Does it hold emotional/sentimental value?
The reason they're tips for non-hoarders is because most of their hoard holds emotional/sentimental value.

  6. This woman I'm sorry for the cats and her. Clearly both are suffering. It's just so sad she can't grasp that concept. And should never be allowed to own animals again and charged with cruelty. And I don't see how animal control and adult protective services was never involved to begin with. Because one look insude would have confirmed. Idk why her children didn't do something about it sooner. To be honest. It's disgusting.

  7. Honestly, before even thinking of having that many cats, I'd try to get, or already have, a very, very large space that I can keep clean, JUST for cats – where they have all the space needed to run around, be healthy, literboxes organized, and cleaned regularly, plenty of toys, cat trees, dedicated food and water bowls for each cat, et cetera – nothing like Vula's dump.

  8. "some people say it's selfish to make these cats live like this but if it's good enough for her to live in, it's good enough for them"

That's exactly why she's selfish and there's no buts about it. Something i learned as an adult is, whether your living conditions are attracting rats that eventually spread to a stranger's house or it's making someone/something close to you sick, it's selfish to not even begin to consider how your actions affect other people.
