This family is the reason she started drugs in the first place they are more selfish and dramatic than she is especially the ambush screaming yelling blocking them! When they said they going to hospital or not that was not how to approach. That family will be lucky if she’ll even talk to them again.

They have to be separated to get healthy. The drugs make them think they can't live without each other. If one gets sober and the other doesn't, the sober person will not be attracted to the druggie. It will be so easy for the sober one to walk away and understand it was all the drugs lying to them all along.

I had to go through this with my fiance we both had to go separately to rehab sadly we broke up but after a year sobriety are talking about taking things slowly and working on our toxic relationship for our 7 year old son. We both want the same end goal to be a sober happy healthy functioning family for our son and ourselves. It can be done we do recover
