Watched this on TV and came to read the comments. Ya'll did not disappoint. I was so grossed out by the sister!! I don't know Nicole at all, but seeing that poor, broken baby had me in tears. Like, how could you do that to your supposed best friend? I know it's not ALL on her, but dang. If anyone has an update on Nicole, I'd love it. ❤️

Her sister got in her face flaunting her happiness when she was at her worst and was so condescending. It was all revenge and jealousy because she was more popular when they were kids? And Matt was praying on having a desperate younger version who will worship him. Disgusting.
My B.A. sister did the same thing to me and hid it for 6 years they both did.. I 100% felt like her sister had part in her addiction. I UNDERSTOOD HER MOM TOO…
She lived in my neighbourhood in Calgary and we used to see her stumbling around drunk. I think she lives on Vancouver Island now but I'm not sure how she is. I haven't heard from her or of her in like 7 years. It's sad. I think the Mom is still kicking around but seems to have realized she can't do anything anymore. I think I saw she travels a lot in her RV. Matt and Sam aren't together.
Samantha deserves the worst type of karma imaginable. Some sister.

She is an alcoholic which means that she did a large part in her addiction but her sister and ex boyfriend most certainly played a role in this. I can’t even imagine the betrayal she feels
I’m watching the full episode right now. Had to come to a comment section where people agree her sister is the WORST. Keep your opinions to yourself you backstabbing b****. She needs an intervention of her own on how to be a good sister. Oh and Matt? He should thank A&E for giving him his 5 minutes of fame. He’s just as pathetic.

The sister was totally jealous. She was not the cool girl. Not that it matters but definitely back stabbing awful human. I’ve had many friends do that to me. I really couldn’t careless. It’s time to move on but cut her out.

Watching this episode again and god I can’t even stand to listen or watch Samantha and Matt together. The both of them equally ruined poor Nicholes life. I can’t stand to see Samantha having any say so in any part in Nicholes life
Watching this episode now. Samantha acting proud of this was pretty sad and how the family should just get over it. Hopefully Nichole stayed sober and realized how she had a full life ahead to find someone who won't treat her this way.
Her sister is a terrible human being. I think she was probably jealous of Nichole and wanted what she had. Shame on her.
I can’t believe that her sister is even part of this intervention she is the primary cause of her drinking, and for her sister to comment how dare her think she has any right.

I had the same trigger for addiction as her but it was my best friend. When two people you love and trust do that to you, you give up. You want to forget.

This was caused by her sister ik them personally Nicole held me as a baby and she would always shake I've never met her in a looooong time I don't even no if she's better but I met her sister a couple months ago it's crazy how they look alike
Nichole if you see this know that you have too much to offer to throw your life away boozing! You are so beautiful, don't sell yourself short hooking up with dirt bag dudes. Find a wealthy guy who will take care of you and start a family. Good luck beautiful, I'm pulling for you!
Nichole was in really bad shape/place. Glad to see her recover. I don't usually dig reality shows (or tv), but find these highly addictive in a way. Addiction is a state of mind and everything in life help discover that.
