  1. I wish I had this opportunity with my mother. A lot of these family members in these situations cut off the afflicted because they don' really understand what addiction is truly like. Unfortunately, I was too young to know what was going on with my mother. I would never cut off someone from my life due to addiction, but I think most of that is because I mostly understand what addiction is like and what it can do to a person.

  2. I don’t understand the whole drinking out of a bag thing. Everyone knows you’re obviously drinking alcohol. No one puts a bottle of water in a bag. Is it just an attention thing or what? I’m in recovery btw but from substances. I’ve never drank. Hate it.

  3. Unfortunately my mom was once this bad.. the similarities are crazy.. but thankfully she’s doing a lot better now granted now I’m an adult, but at least my kids will grow up to see the real her! I hope this is the same for Penny-Lee and her kids & grandkids!

  4. The thing about us alcohoics is that with out alcohol our anger is something we can’t control we don’t like being mean but nobody can understand how an alcoholic with to alcohol goes thru
