  1. Not one word about communism in trailer. All these mainstream docs conveniently leave out how communist people’s temple was. They committed “revolutionary suicide” in the name of Marxism against capitalism. His followed were devoted marxists, Jim was an atheist who was in the communist party as early as the 1950s. I find it so strange that almost every mainstream doc minimizes his socialist communist worldview.

  2. Annie Moore was the last alive and she died by gunshot along with Jones. She wrote a suicide note and I believe she wrote the anonymous note. She shot Jim Jones because he was too much of a coward to do it himself. He also relied on Annie Moore for his the administration of his medication.

  3. That was what happens when social justice warriors follow their principles to their penultimate end. They are currently running this documentary on Infinity's On Demand for free in the Independent and Documentaries Movies category. I cannot help but see history and the type of women who embrace this whole mode of thinking might very well repeat itself. All you have to do is see all the women wearing pussycat hats and howling at the sky during Trump's inauguration to wonder what kind of brain fever they keep getting every 40 years or so…

  4. From and including: Wednesday, January 1, 1986
To, but not including Sunday, November 18, 2018

    Result: 12,009 days
It is 12,009 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date

Or 32 years, 10 months, 17 days excluding the end date

  5. I watched this last night but i have friends who missed it, does anyone know if A&E will be replaying it? Just asking for a few friends. It was really well done.

  6. I look forward to watching this, after that NBC tape and hearing the tape of the poisoning while it happens is heartbreaking and something I'll never forget. Hearing the ladies side should be interesting.

  7. Marceline Jones was a victim. Jim Jones emotionally abused and threatened her for years. She tried to stop the children from being killed. I hope this special doesn’t portray her in a negative way.
