Okay why was the medic not cancelled after he was found to be fine and not want care? Then why did they make it seem like he had to be checked out? I would have cleared as soon as I was on scene and said he was fine and didn’t want to go. Just more wasted EMS resources.

Everyone saying this guy is a stoner but he's got some spot-on survival instincts. When he realized how strong the current was and how much his clothes were dragging him down, he didn't hesitate to get rid of them. Saved his life.
