  1. 9 years ago I was getting on the on ramp to go home and the freeway was lined by large pine trees. As I started to speed up to merge I noticed one of the trees start to tip and though at first "that's strange the are doing road work during rush hour" but NOPE that sucker was going full Kesha TIMBER right into the freeway. It blocked all three of the first lanes. Nobody hit it and it didn't crush any cars. I just remember thinking 3 seconds earlier and I could have been killed. I was ~6 months pregnant at the time too and consider myself lucky!

  2. Im still confused! did he fall asleep drive UP the embankment, hit the tree and drag it back down the embankment into the middle of the freeway?

  3. Imagine being a tree, minding your own business, soaking up the photosynthesis, drinking deeply through your root system….and all of a sudden, BAM……someone hits you. Then you are scattered all over the highway.

Right in the feels, man. In the FEELS.

  4. Okay so help me understand what happened. The guy driving somehow ended up on the dirt, collected the tree and brought it back down onto the middle of road? He then parked on the shoulder?

  5. They were like smiling????? And all they kept basically saying was “it was a really unique call” as if they were happy it happened??? Not that I’m here to poke at the first responders in any negative way; I just find it ironic the ones who are supposed to be there to care and protect us seem like they care more about their experiences almost as if it’s something to brag about them being part of such a “unique” call.. almost compared to a trophy.. Not that my opinion genuinely matters at all, just thought I’d put that out there for anyone else that agrees lol
