You gotta always check your cross traffic. At each intersection you approach always. But most important search for that escape route also just in case a cager is blowing the intersection.
I almost killed myself on ah dam dirt bike bc I wasint bein smart I was not even wearing a helmet but If u seein this make sure you put your safety gear on because you don’t kno what’s gonna happend js💯💯

Had a 55mph Tbone 2 years back. I stopped directly on the truck. No sliding or skidding just a smack. Helmet saved my melon but not my shoulder, knee, my hands and hip. So any new riders out there please wear your gear and pay attention. People don’t see you and don’t care.

As the old lady at the DMV said to a guy when I was there, when I was young "ih yoi want your license for a murdercycle. 🤦♀️ them the next month a friends boyfriend was killed on one.
It is my prayer that this rider mends fully. 🙏🏻
No matter how hot it got, I always tried to ride with my leather motorcycle jacket on in addition to my motorcycle helmet, gloves and boots!
I had previously been knocked off my bike whilst jacket-less and with my shirt sleeves rolled up past my elbows, the consequent gravel rash gave me the incentive to always wear my jacket!
Even at low, town riding speeds the human body can become remarkably injured in motorcycle crashes, and having good quality, well fitted riding gear can really change the outcome!
One of my customers had a low speed motorcycle accident and his top quality leather jacket and jeans were shredded on the right side and his top quality right motorcycle boot looked like it had been attacked by a chainsaw, the damage was catastrophic!
The hospital specialist said that if it wasn't for him wearing such strong, well made motorcycle boots, his right foot would have been traumatically amputated in the accident.
His foot was injured, but not seriously or long lasting and he was pain free in a couple of weeks.
He'd come in to show me how well the riding gear I'd supplied him had protected him, and to buy it's new replacements.
He recognised and respected that good gear protects.
As a motorcyclist this is terrible. Also don’t understand why they say thrown, you are always thrown from the motorcycle in and accident.
