I have the opposite problem. I have an incredibly loving, caring, non-judgmental & wonderful mother in law. My own "mother" I havent spoke to since 1997. Since my birth mother was a horrible excuse for a parent, God gave me a new one. I thank God for her, shes so awesome.
I guess I'm lucky, I have a daughter in law and I absolutely love her. She's smart, funny, and adores my son. I was so happy when they told me they were getting married I cried happy tears. She calls me Mom and I'm happy to say we're friends as well as relatives.
