That's a good brother right there. Imagine if he wasn't there… this could have EASILY turned bad. Not saying it would be on the cops hands, but watching clips like this reminds me of why sometimes mentally ill patients are shot. He could have used the van as a weapon, and when he started rolling forward with the officer next to him he could have drawn his weapon.

As a survivor of teaching psych hospitals where my right to privacy was constantly withheld from me (I was forced into literally being studied) I find this show to be exploitative. Sure, it's "entertaining" on some level – but it stands as a reminder to me that since I am mentally ill I should not expect to be treated with any sort of respect. Pretty douchey
Awesome to see officers handle mental health appropriately:) and his brother tho …. awesome example of family being there no matter what… he just wanted his brother to be safe you could see the concern on his face .
