  1. And no one mentioned the security guard just standing there. Actually he casually moved out of the way of the fight… The pilots should be allowed to at least have tasers!

  2. Just to be clear, the dude coming off the plane carrying a suit bag and a large backpack felt the off-duty pilot was taking up too much space and being disrespectful? I see…..

  3. Everyone is trying to blame the security guard. I hope you guys know that a security guards job is to OBSERVE AND REPORT. Worked as a guard for a little while, literally says in the job description do not get involved just call the police, and I will just sit back and watch. I’m not going to put myself in a harmful situation when my employer won’t even take care of me if I get hurt 🤣

  4. Completely flabbergasted looking at these comments. Do you idiots not realize that the off duty pilot is the person that instigated this entire event? The passenger tried to take a picture of the guy, that’s it. Dude slapped his hand/phone away with so much force that the cell phone flew off frame like it was attached to a jet. He started the physical altercation by putting his hands on the passenger and his property – then he cries about it to the police and gets the guy arrested. Completely unbelievable. At a minimum this off-duty pilot should have gotten his face punched in. You put your hands on a paying customer…unprovoked (don’t even @ me with that BS – the passenger never touched the guy until AFTER he slapped his hand away and shattered his phone for only trying to take a picture)…and then got said customer arrested, I’m sure by lying to the police. Remove the crappy voice over for this video and it’s clear cut evidence that the off duty pilot started this altercation. Passenger is not at fault in any way

  5. So let me get this straight – the passenger walked up to this off duty pilot, tried to get a picture of his badge, and was physically assaulted and arrested? This off duty pilot slapped his phone completely out of the camera frame and it probably shattered when it hit the ground. There was no physical altercation until the “pilot” took it there. That man is/was a paying customer and has every right to take a photo of an employee who is acting belligerent and/or rude. There is absolutely zero excuse for putting your hands on someone and/or destroying their property. This “pilot” deserves to have his jaw broken

  6. People are such snowflakes. Someone is "disrespectful" so you pick a fight? Why not just ignore a disrespectful person? I just read something about a woman who had plastic surgery because someone said her eyes looked puffy, and the woman was "mortified". She now regrets the surgery. Sorry, no sympathy from me.

  7. I believe the pilot could have taken him. Props to him for having restraint. But, what makes people think they can just put their hands on people? Not everyone is gonna let you make it buddy.

  8. There's a former security guard looking for a new job and an airline passenger who needs serious anger management and won't be flying with that airline anymore.

  9. Folks are bashing the security guard's inactivity. I initially though so too. But look closely, the security guard is approaching the exit and not guarding it. The security guard is also wearing a backpack. I believe the security guard is leaving the airport after finishing his shift.
