I am very scared of any dog since I was a child let alone these huge dogs. I can't even go near dogs. Big dogs look like killer animals to me. These men working with these huge dogs are courageous. Good luck

I was a K9 handler in the 80s. My partner's name was Damien. I'd throw a rock into the river and he would jump in and dive for it. He loved the water. I miss him.
As I'm watching this, I'm snuggling in bed with my Standard Poodle and Belgian Malinois. My Mal is intense with drive and high energy, but my poodle can outrun him, knock him down and sit on him faster than he can blink, which makes me laugh Everytime she takes him down. Sometimes I think she could be a police or military K9.

So, in order to get the dog to walk on the plank the cop has to grab his collar and pull him. What do you do when he's supposed to jump & doesn't ;what do you do, kick 'em in the nuts?
These dogs are incredible! When I was a vet tech, we took care of the local K9 officers. They seem so vicious out in the field on duty, but they're just like regular doggos off duty. Love belly rubs and treats, so much respect for them!
