  2. I am just learning about these men. Were they REALLY respected or were they being mocked and didnt realize it? Also, if they were genuinely respected how did 2 white male cops earn so much respect and trust in the Compton community? Are there any documentaries about them? I am interested in learning more.

  4. FYI, when these two were cops in Compton. No police gunned down Latino, or Black young men in Compton. That started when LA County Sheriff's took over their police department.

  10. I remember working down stairs in the gang unit basement as Ms. Ruby Kenney 's secretary assistant ( my summer job at 15 years old ) . Officer Tim AKA Blonde , Officer Senior Reggie Right and the rest of the Compton police dept gang unit . I miss home and I wouldn't trade growing up in the HUB CITY for nothing .

  11. Reading their book right now. These guys are no joke and we're in the trenches when Compton was on fire back in the early 80s and 90s, including arrests of Eazy E, Quick, Baby Lane etc.
