There aren't many contractors or construction workers who aren't alcoholic or addicts .it's a tough life and a hard painful job .Ive worked in my own for 30 years and have seen it all flip houses only make money when you can do most of the work yourself or you're buying higher end and have a construction company of your own

17. Bro you have to de-gloss the cabinets before putting any paint on. Go buy de-glosser and that paint will stick. You always de gloss any thing that is oil based before you paint it.

    A true tradesman will give you a invoice at the end of the job for the work.

20. Joe next time get a invoice of what it will cost than turn that into a contract saying what you want done how long they have to complete the project/task. Once that done give 1/4 out in front other 1/4 when half way done, the last 1/2 when job is completed. Most of contractors if they need more time will let you know in advance. The reason sometimes that happens when something go wrong. No one can tell that going cost more or have run it different way then they had planned to.

29. i gave a bid on this house for the drywall hanging / finishing and afterprisonshow never called me back for the job , Told him to wait till the electrician was done doing what he needed done anyway and i can see you had to fire him
