  1. So this was definitely a learning experience in doing business. Let me know if you think I handled this well. And also know that, I use a different merchandise Co. since this. And its been just fine!

  2. Big Business, my @$$! What kind of jackleg, fly-by-night outfit did you deal with? I don't know if they were jacking you around in the hopes that you'd just give up and go away (in which case they keep the money) or if these @$$clowns are a bunch of straight morons who have no frickin' clue what they're doing! But, in the end, mission accomplished, right? Good job, chief.

  3. In my late teens- early 20's I had to get a W-2 job for my probation and the 1st call back I got was a call center. It's a miserable ass place to be.

There's no way to describe exactly what it's like other that miserable. Ya basically just have to sit there and take abuse all day and night on the phone. I hated it more than any other job I've ever had. Got to where I couldn't even go sober which lead to a whole host of other issues.

But one thing that makes it so bad is that you're takin these calls and gettin all these questions that ya just simply don't have answers for. Most companies have their call centers divided up into specialties. For example, I was hired as billing, then was trained in tier one tech, then tier two tech. And while I was trained in billing, once I got trained as a tech I was supposed to start transferring for billing. It's all extremely convoluted and makes for a shit customer and employee experience.

  4. I had this on small screen working on something else and glanced down thought you'd dressed up for a skit lol didn't realize it was an action figure

  5. From somebody who simply CANNOT be assertive when somebody/company/whatever screws me over, this was EPIC to watch. I'm always overly polite and always end up apologising for bothering them when it's actually the other way around. This was like oooooh GO JOE! YOU TELL 'EM 😂 Very inspiring to watch. In addition, you maintained civility, did not swear etc despite your anger and frustration. Absolutely amazing. tips hat

  6. You handled it well. That kid on the phone took 5 mins to give you a simple answer that could've been explained simply. He took all thr credit for what he thought was good and pointed the finger at people who didnt cut thr check. Yeaaaa buddy I'm sure you're gonna have the owner make a call hahahah niiiiice
