DIY: 5 Lug Conversion on your Car or Truck

DIY four to five lug conversion and wheel bearing replacement. In this video I show you how to do a 4 to 5 lug conversion on a Nissan 240sx owned by YouTuber SaabKyle04, but this applies to any 4 lug car. You can also use this process to go from a 5 to 6 lug on a truck or even 6 to 5 lug if you want. You are basically replacing the wheel bearing and hub assembly so this lug conversion applies to many different cars and trucks.

  1. 200lbs may be a lot of torque, try 330lbs of torque on an Isuzu NPR roofing truck. That is crazy to do. Discount tire had me doing crazy things lol

  2. Can do this with my 72 bonneville 5lug to a 6lug and where would i get the 6ug hubs that fit my car or just get the 5 to 6lug wheel adapters

  3. I think I already told you Chris in another video, but anyone watching, push the wrench when tightening to heavy torque specs. When tightening an axle nut, push the wrench since you can use your weight to have that do most of the work.

  4. Having car problems? Want to fix it by yourself to save money?? open youtube, seek tutorial help, AND ITS ALWAYS CHRIS WHO DID IT ALL! THIS DUDE IS AMAZING!!!

  5. POV Chris comes to buy a medium thread locker for one video:
you: hello how can i help you
Chris: i would like to get 500 medium thread lockers
you: oh so you have a workshop
Chris: no i will just repair one car, so see you next week
