  1. Hey man i have a 1990 C4, can you tell me what i should be worry about and whats different form yours? Im a new owner of a C4 so i would really love to get some knowledge ok it thank you

  2. Just a reminder that when taking off the old oil filter, make sure the old gasket comes off with it. If the new filter is put against the old gasket, you'll have a major oil leak! Those things can stick sometimes. Great video by the way! Now to get me some ramps so I can do this to mine 😉

  3. He forgot to mention one thing. Notice the oil cap said Mobile 1. I would stick to that since the car calls for it. Idk about you guys but whatever came with the car originally, I'd like to continue using.

  4. Hi Chris,
first, your videos are great, straight to the point while explaining things clearly.
I now currently own a 1996 torch red Corvette too. I would really like to see a video on how you detail your vette. Specifically your method of polishing and waxing. I've been detailing my cars since high school (95) and I've learned a lot and my cars come out great. But I feel like the vette deserves the next level.
What type of polish and wax do you use? How often do you polish? I'm sure you wax after every wash. What are your thoughts on Zymol Rouge glaze (which is specifically for red cars and $77 a bottle).
I live in the Chicago area so car detailing season is coming! If you have the time or the desire, I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to see you detail your vette. Thanks for reading and keep up the great work!!

  5. For those of us who don't have a oil gauge, check your dipstick to make sure it is at the Full mark. And make sure the oil light does not come on, on the dashboard.

  6. Nice video. It's so nice to see someone that knows how to change an oil filter by not using a damn tool to get it so tight that the next person that comes along may have to use the old screwdriver trick to get the filter off. I see this happen so often, and people just don't realize that the filter doesn't have to be that tight! In fact, in many cases it crushes the gasket and causes leaks if it is too tight, not to mention how much of a pain in the ass it is to get off when this is done.

  7. I remember watching this years ago when I actually needed to change the oil on my Corvette, haha. Had to revisit it.

  8. It would be a good idea to tell how to reset the "Change Oil" light on the dash.  But I'll do it here.  Turn key to ON.  Within 5 seconds, press "ENG MET" button twice.  Then press and hold the "GAUGES" button for 10 seconds.  The light will flash and then go off.
