How to Install a Coax Cable F Connector with Common Tools

Coax cable stripping. Learn how to strip a coax cable for TV. I use a RG6, twist on F connector rather than a crimp on f connector so there are no special tools. This is for my Fios Cable TV and it works great!

  1. On behalf of all Cable Guys, Please do not ever use these connectors or methods. Too much noise and your cable provider will just disconnect your house.

  2. Thanks Chris. I actually bought a Klein tool cutter and could have just used a razor knife and saved myself $15. Back up and running. Thanks again!!

  3. Just by hearing your voice it makes me wanna go change my brakes and rotors and dnt even need it changed lol

  4. any1 knows why im getting no internet after doing the steps? devices connect to the router, but theres no internet! could i have done anything wrong?

  5. Everything you say in this video is wrong. Well, maybe your name is correct.

To correct the video start with saying " never use twist on connectors".

  6. screw on fittings are troublesome do not use them. use compression fittings only. trim off the end to a sixteenth if an inch.

  7. So Chris fix fixing other stuff ? Lol usually Chris fix the car dude fixes 🔧car🚗 and stuff that's cool he showing other how to diy 🔧

  8. cheers Chris. i did not know about the screw on so will give that a crack. i don't really want to buy the fancy cutting tool & compression tool. for DIY i think it's not too shabby for this neighborhood mama. if the signal gives me any dramas then i will revisit my train of thought…
