Thanks, I am disappointed that the packaging for these replacement bulbs tells you the wattage and not just a simple High beam or Low beam. You can read the packaging for the Sylvania halogen bulb and it doesn't tell you directly anywhere on the package which one it is.

Hey Chris! (Really testing if you answer every comment here…) I bought 9006 bulbs off of amazon (product title and description says 9006), but they sent me 9012. It's very tempting to return them and try to find them in store, but other faucets of the internet told me that the only difference is the size of the tabs that lock the bulb in place when you turn the assembly, which is very easily altered with a nail clipper or file or something. Thought I'd try to run it past you to make sure.
I'm planning on taking the old bulb to compare it with the new ones.

so in my dads truck their was a light that wasn’t working and we bought a new lightbulb and set it, and when we tried turning it on it wouldn’t so we switch the old bulb to the other side and tried making sure it wasnt the bulb but when when put it wouldn’t turn on so we put the new one in on both sides and now both don’t want to turn on and we are wondering why

Thanks ChrisFix. I have a 1998 Ford Windstar and it is the only vehicle besides yours that uses the wire clip. It presents its own challenges getting the bulb off and the new one on. If you get an opportunity I would love to see a detailed look at how you change a headlight with that kind of wire connection. Thanks again

I wish all headlights where this easy. I just had to replace those ones that you have to twist, and it was such an pain in the ass. Mainly because the engine compartment is so jam packed with components that you literally can’t get your hand in to twist the bulb into place.
