  1. Chris, I live in an apartment. I can't clean my car myself. How do I find a place that cleans car the way you do without get ripped off. What do I look for in a car cleaning service?

  2. I didn’t read all 7300+ comments so this might have been mentioned already…remember to remove the tags from the towels. Those will scratch too. I was surprised you didn’t mention that in the video.

  3. Don't lower your windows right after washing car..
Wait at least 10 minutes.. it will leave water streaks.

  4. 0:13 #1 taking car to carwash
0:48 #2 cleaning car in hot direct sunlight
    1:24 #3 using dish soap/degreaser
1:55 bonus tip, clean bucket before washing
    #4 not using lubricant
3:22 #5 using any towel other than a micro fibre/tuffeled towel
3:44 #6 not cleaning car from top to bottom
Bonus tip, snap towel out to get gunk off it before washing
5:28 #7 don’t clean car in swirling motion
5:44 #8 not using two buckets
7:15 #9 reusing a towel after dropping it on the ground
7:39 #10 putting any chemicals on parts of the car that would make driving dangerous

  5. Always open/close the door for your girlfriend/wife. She’ll think you are super considerate and you’ll get chivalry bonus points. You’re just ensuring, however, that she doesn’t scratch the crap out of your car with her fingernails or jewellery.

  6. Do you have some tutorial video that teach how to clean the microfiber towels? I am from Brazil, and unfortanately, the products, including the towels, are high expensive

  7. I agree with everything except the car wash. When you live in a state that has tons of snow and you get salt all of the roads and you don't want your car to rust you have no choice. ( No I am not hooking a hose up to my hot water heater & running it outside so I can wash off the car.)Plus when you live next to pine trees and all sorts of debris that gets on your car again sometimes you have no choice. I do fine detailing on the car always( clay, wax, etc) but I do have to use a car wash. Sorry bro. My paint is fine in the car looks brand new.

  8. Just a quick warning: NEVER EVER GIVE TO YOUR DOG ANY OF THE FOLLOWING: Pizza sauce, onions, avocados, peaches, plums, persimons, raw eggs, milk, fish, salty and sugary foods, and of course, the infamous chocolate!

  9. Well my car starts at 1900 RPM (on tachometer)when it is cold and it takes 3 to 5 minutes to get to normal round 800 RPM. What can I do?

  10. Great video Chris! I would like to add using a leaf blower or vacuum in blow mode, to remove the water from the car surface. This reduces the wiping required with any cloth (microfiber is the cloth of Choice!). This is especially beneficial with ceramic, wax or synthetic wax coated cars. Thanks again – keep up the great work!

  11. weelll technically, our sense of touch is always "hurting" because what we feel is pain yet its not bothering pain like a sting or such so basically i should use a power washer only if its off

  12. DON'T take your heand in front of any powerwasher.. pls.. I did it once accidentally and it ripped off my skin

  13. Hey, im a classic car cleaner definitely aint a builder but i saw you always recomend microfiber and never old t-shirts ive been using them but i dont see the need have you done a comparison video?

  14. my top cleaning car mistake is taking the car to those self serve car washes. sometimes they dont get all of the dirt off and when your doing it in the day, when you go back home the car will be looking exactly the same when you took it to the carwash.

  15. hey chris, what gsm (Grams per square meter) rated micro-fiber cloth would u suggest for cleaning the outer body of the car and the glass parts of car such as front & rear windshield (rear windshield has defogger lines), windows, IRVM & ORVMs?

i assume it would vary depending on which part of the car we gonna clean & whether if it is wet cleaning using water/soap or dry cleaning/dusting off of already loose dry-dust particles before wet cleaning ?

  16. I use a self service $2 for 300min power wash, it has soft water, and has a wax mode so the car shines next time you clean it, it also has a degreeser so you can strip your old wax and apply new one, and most importanlty the water is constantly 30deg C
